The Lizzadro Collection is a rare assemblage of fine jade carvings amassed by one man, Joseph F. Lizzadro (1898-1972) acquiring his first Chinese jade carving, a small hanging vase, in the late 1930’s. 105 lots with description and color illustration, many full-page.
Notable items include: A Very Rare Pale Greyish-Green and Brown Jade bowl, Liao/Yuan Dynasty, 10th to 13th century; A Pale Greyish-Green Jade Ruyi Scepter, 18th/19th Century; A White Jade Rectangular Pendant Plaque, 18th/19th Century.
